You have the right to provide to the landlord a portable tenant screening report, as defined in section 38-12-902 (2.5) of the Colorado Revised Statutes. If you provide the landlord with a portable tenant screening report, the landlord is prohibited from: charging you a rental application fee, or charging you a fee for the landlord to access or use the portable tenant screening report. The requirement of a landlord to accept portable tenant screening reports are subject to certain requirements and exemptions, as provided in sections 38-12-903 and 38-12-904 of the Colorado Revised Statutes and other laws.
